Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy (born November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968) is a Canadian actress and singer. She is best known for her roles in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the lead character on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She also appeared as acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father was a meat and marketing sales and marketing executive. The position required a lot of travel and meant that the family moved frequently. Maxine her secretary mother, left the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, took care of her daughter in Kitchener. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother, as well as Jacqueline, a twin sister. Jacqueline is an anchor and journalist on the Canadian television program. Hennessy is of Irish as well as French, Swedish, Italian, and Swedish heritage from her father. She also has predominantly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. Hennessy was the sister of her brother, who made their debut on stage in 1988 as twin call-girls in Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, stated that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the character as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. She played the role for three seasons, leaving the show in 1996.
